You have worked hard to pay off the mortgage of your home. Now that you are selling your home, why give your home equity to a Real Estate Broker? If your home sells for $150,000 and you list Full Service, you may end up paying $9,000 in Real Estate commission.

Buyer Rebates Put Money In Your Pocket

If you are interested in purchasing a home, let us put money back into your pocket.  If we refer you to a Real Estate Broker of your choice, in nearly any city within the United States, we will pay you 15% of the Broker's commission.  That can add up to a lot of money.

For example, if you buy a house for $200,000 then the Broker's commission fee would typically be 3% of the purchase price of the home, or $6,000.  If we refer you to that Broker, then we pay you a Buyer Rebate of $900.  That's money in your pocket, and not the Broker's.

Does selling FSBO take longer to sell?

I have recently come across the question, 'Do homes listed For Sale By Owner, usually take longer to sell'?

The answer has to do with how you advertise your home. Are you relying on a newspaper ad, or just a sign in your yard? When selling your home FSBO, advertising can be a challenge. The reality is that if you are selling just as a FSBO, you are missing out on the MLS, or Multiple Listing Service, and the truth is that if your home does not have the Realtor visibility that the MLS provides, your home could be up for sale for a very long time.

However, if you want to retain your position as home-seller and gain the Real Estate visibility of the MLS (without having to pay a listing Real Estate Broker between 6 - 7 % commission), then you may want to consider selling Flat Fee MLS.

Between a Flat Fee MLS Listing and a traditional Full Service Listing, there is virtually no difference in average days spent on the market.  The reason for this is that the majority of Real Estate sales occur because of other Real Estate Agents using the MLS to bring buyers to the sellers.

Sell Your Home As a Flat Fee Entrepreneur

Are you a home owner trying to sell your house? Do you feel that you have the skills and demeanor to work as an entrepreneur? Do you enjoy talking and networking with people? Are you the type of person who completes a task once it has begun? If you have answered yes to these questions, you probably have what it takes to bridge your interests and skills in the effort to sell your home as a For Sale By Owner or what is oftentimes termed FSBO.

If you are seriously considering the selling of your home or property, then you basically have three options. One, you can open your phone book and call a licensed Realtor. Two, you can stick a for sale sign in your front lawn and hope whoever drives by will stop. Or Three, you can search on the internet for a licensed Real Estate company which focuses on giving you the entreprenueal aspect of selling your home, as well as the main benefit of employing a licensed Realtor.

FSBO vs. Flat Fee MLS

FSBO is For Sale By Owner and literally means that you as a home-seller, are selling your home without a Real Estate Agent. They market their home this way to avoid the 6-7% commission.

In fact, there are many FSBO websites that home-sellers attempt to use to market their homes, but realistically, none are as effective as the Multiple Listing Service or MLS. Because 80-90% of homes purchased today are found by Realtors scouring those listings for their potential buyers, the MLS is the gateway to selling a home. Not adding a home to the local MLS, is like not revealing that home's availability to hundreds and maybe thousands of Realtors.

The only way to take advantage of the marketing power of the MLS, as well as to keep the individuality of a FSBO, is to list as a Flat Fee MLS.
